Women's Circle
Women have gathered around the fires, red tents, and in kitchens for connection, community and caring in circles for thousands of years. This work belongs to no one and everyone.
What is a Women's Circle?
Let's start with what it's not.
It's not a place of judgment
It's not a place to offer advice or "fix" anyone
It's not a place of therapy or coaching.
It's not a place for gossip or politics.
Now for what it is.
It's a place for women to feel seen and heard.
It's a place where you can feel safe being your authentic self.
It's a place to become a listener when others are sharing, which is a gift of generosity.
It's a place for connection and to know we are not alone.
It's a return to something ancient, sacred, and deeply needed that many of us are longing for.
About the Facilitator Sara Valentine
I have been a yoga teacher and practitioner for over 25 years. I have been facilitating women's circles for the last three. It is my joy and honor to continue to grow with this work and offer it to those who feel called. Here is my intention for holding circles:
I believe in women.
I believe women have the right to be seen and heard.
I believe women deserve a safe space to know they are whole and complete just as they are.
I believe women are powerful.
I believe women deserve to thrive.
I believe in the magic of women in circle.
I believe a circle of women can empower and uplift one another to help us all thrive.
I hope you will join us the third Saturday of each month from 2:00 - 3:15pm at the beautiful Desert Lotus Yoga Studio.
